A novel method (a tube with successive increase and reduction in diameter) to increase nanofluid heat transfer in a tube

In this paper, a new geometry has been proposed to increase heat transfer in tubes. The fluid used was water-aluminum oxide (Al2O3) nanofluid. results showed that the study (compared simple tube) addition increasing transfer, reduced flow pressure drop, which is great advantage over previous methods. Reynolds numbers of 2-300 and nanoparticle volume fraction 0-3.5% have investigated. Profile temperature, velocity presented for different numbers, nanofluid fractions sections geometry. addition, variations Nusselt number studied. For 50, temperature 52% higher than tube under same operating conditions. drop 24% less change nanoparticles had small effect on number. It found increased
